Vacation Rental Gift Boxes

A welcome box is the first thing a guest touches after the lockbox code. It sets the tone before they have seen the view.

These boxes are built for short-term rentals — Okanagan food and drink, small-batch treats, and handmade wooden pieces from our own workshop in Kelowna. Enough that guests photograph it and mention it in the review. Not so much that it eats the turnover margin.

What guests actually write about. Something local they could not have picked up at the airport. Okanagan chocolate, granola from Cabin 5, a candle poured here. Not a fruit basket.

Put the property's name on it. Our coasters, cutting boards and charcuterie boards are made and engraved in our own shop, so the property name goes on something guests use during the stay — and remember when they are deciding where to book next year.

One thing to check before you order. Boxes containing wine need an adult signature on delivery, so for self check-in the alcohol-free boxes are the safer pick.
